Real art on an etch-a-sketch.  Is it real?  I think so. There’s a high resolution at Wikimedia Commons which has a very high res photo of this, You can see the stops where the little metal etcher would have stopped and moved tiny lumps of material in specific ways. These patterns are consistent with the limitations I remember with the device. It is pretty convincing.  Suddenly, I wish I still had one.

If this is a photoshop mock up, they put as much work into fakery as they would have to get this good at etch-a-sketchery.  Anyway, that someone would have worked to be this good at at etch-sketching makes a far more interesting universe.
