Just expect to lose a few vehicles– and prep for a major disaster of some sort.
But all in the name of fun, right?
I think they stole some attitude from some of the classic Car and Driver articles.
Hey, I spent a meaningful section of my life rock distance from Detroit. It was great reading when you were waiting to get your car fixed– or being a passenger trying to chill while the driver was dodging potholes. This despite the fact that a meaningful section of the available roads were under construction every year. So why, why could not the Motor City actually fix their roads, when cars were the only way to travel? (Not without a jetpack, anyway.)
This was true, even in neighboring counties, where cash flow– and motivation to invite travel– were not a problem.
