Sunday Shrine 2/16

This is St. Vitus Cathedral in Prague, in the Czech Republic. This is the Sanctuary. Below is the shrine I’m showing off for this week. There is so much here, I think going to Prague only for this would be worth it.  Spendy, but worth it!

 The framed mitre here belonged to St. Wenceslas. There is a whole chapel devoted to him that is so rich they used precious stones as wall ornaments. It is not open to the public and contains the vault that stores the Crown Jewels of Bohemia.
